Tis’ The Season to go SHOPPING

The Embassy Suites Irvine is another one of our favorite hotels in the Southern California region. The staff at the Embassy Suites Irvine always goes above and beyond to please their guests. When we asked to borrow a computer charger, one of the staff members offered to bring in their own charger from their home.
Each and every employee that we saw or interacted with took pride in their job, whether they were making a made-to-order omelet, or preparing to set up for their nightly hosted happy hour, they do everything with a sense of pride and enjoyment.
We have always been fans of Embassy Suites locations, but this one really is the best! We love that every room always has a refrigerator, microwave, and a pull-out sofa in the living room, that has a door between the bedroom. Every time we stay at the Embassy Suites Irvine we sleep really well! Their beds are really comfortable and their showers always have great water pressure.
We also love waking up for their breakfast! With such a large property, it is amazing that they can still make you any type of omelet you’d like, and serve it with a smile!
We love that a visit to Embassy Suites is like the best sleepover ever! The rooms face the main living room/courtyard, and you can look down and head straight to the party, and when you’re ready for bed, you can go back to your quiet and comfortable room. It’s such a great design!
We also love staying by Irvine airport and we love all of the resources Irvine has to offer. Irvine is located near two major malls, South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island.
After checking in just in time to grab a snack at the nightly Embassy Suites happy hour, we headed to Nordstrom Fashion Island for their annual Nordstrom Rewards Holiday Party. We picked out our favorite “must-have” items! Right now, I love everything that has sequins! The brighter, the better…the bolder..even better!
Our next day, Britttany took us on a whirlwind treasure hunt. We started our morning by visiting Goodwill. We love a good visit to Goodwill! You never know just what you might find, but with a good attitude and some positive thinking, you really will find ANYTHING that you’re looking for…and often times, as I like to say, “It will be better than expected!”
Brittany and I found some really cute workout clothes, a few Banana Republic shirts, and a really cute J. Crew top that I have been searching for all summer! (I’m serious, make your list, or screen shot your favorite items or looks.)
Our next stop on our scavenger hunt was to Goodwill Computer Works. Brittany read about it, and we were really excited when it was only a few miles away from The Embassy Suites Irvine. We didn’t really know what to expect. It’s hit or miss as you what you will find, but it is worth checking out. Every Friday they change their half-off color at the Goodwill locations in Southern California, so rumor has it that people line up on Friday mornings hoping to score some cool electronics at 50% off.
Our final stop on our shopping scavenger hunt took us to one of the Goodwill Boutique Stores. The one that we visited in Tustin was styled very nicely on the inside. We loved how they displayed their merchandise. The Goodwill Boutique stores are suppose to be the “better brands” and the “better merchandise.” We liked the store, but didn’t really find anything that we wouldn’t be able to find at the regular Goodwill stores. However, we are really glad we visited!
Of course, we still found some great items!
Brittany found some Teeki yoga pants, a really cool coffee cup that looks like a Canon lens and an Adidas workout skirt. I found an adorable blue J.Crew summer sweater with little green whales on it.
With any Goodwill you never know what you’re going to find, you just have to know what it is that you want to find!
The entire trip really worked out better than expected! Everything was easy to find, easy to get to, and really fun!
Thank you Embassy Suites Irvine for inviting us to their guest and making our visit to Irvine so fun!
