Warren Miller’s “Line of Descent” comes to Arizona!
“If you don’t do it this year, you’ll be one year older when you do”-Warren Miller
For the past ten years, Brittany and I have made it a family tradition to check out the latest Warren Miller snow sports adventure film.
We’ve only skied a handful of times, but every time we go to a Warren Miller film we get really excited to head to the mountains! For us, attending a Warren Miller film is our official kick-off to winter! We plan an adventure centered around the beauty of winter!
This year’s film, “Line of Descent” celebrates 68 years of the annual Warren Miller adventure film, and those descents that taught us to enjoy the snow!
I jumped on my first set of skis after being inspired by the film! I literally made it a point to head to the mountains and take a ski lesson. The next year I went on a quest to meet Warren Miller himself! The music in the films is always really fun, the athletes are so inspiring, and everyone leaves the theater ready to welcome the first snowfall!
This years’ film will journey through North America’s Jackson Hole, Montana, Silverton, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and Steamboat.
The film will be in Arizona this week to kick off the official start of winter!
